Paddle distance to PR source 18 miles, hence the experience level. Few take-out points until bridge at SR 37. Bridge take-out at SR 1202 can be difficult in dry conditions. some camping platforms. Put-in-Yes. (Goodwin Crrek) Putting in at the bridge on SR 1111 (Beech Springs Rd) soon presents a very large beam across the entire creek. Further progress requires portaging around this obstruction through a very swampy area, hence the experience level. Goodwin Creek can also be accessed from the Perquimans River, but exiting at SR 1111 will require portaging around the same beam. (Racoon) Low bridge on Wynne Fork Road can prevent going further up the creek. (Mill Creek)Low bridge on Creek Drive can present access difficulties to the Creek.
