 Merchants Millpond is north of Edenton and can be reached by car.  Ranger-led tours (reservations required).  GPS advisable unless with a ranger.  Canoe/kayak rentals, restrooms, picnic tables, walking trails, ample parking at 2 points, kayak wash station, camping.

 Dillards Creek is north of Edenton and can be reached by car or boat.  If visiting by boat be prepared to anchor off in the Chowann River and paddle ashore.  Private community - permission required.  No put-ins.
