RIVERBASH - Hertford - April 27th -28th


Join us for the inauguration of RIVERBASH in honor of the 350th anniversary of Northeastern North Carolina. Perquimans County was formed in 1668 when Olde Albemarle was divided into what would become the first counties of North Carolina. Currituck, Pasquotank, Perquimans, and Chowan represent the beginnings of local government in our state.




Historic Hertford, Inc, and the Hertford Rotary will be co-sponsoring "Dine, Drink & Dance" on the Hertford waterfront from 6pm - 10pm during RIVERBASH.


Tickets - $25 include


   • Steamed Shrimp OR Steamed Crabs OR Ribs

   • 2 Sides

   • 2 Drinks (beer, wine, soda)

Beverages, shrimp and crab will be available at an additional cost until sold out.

Music to be provided by DJ Cowboy.

Dine with a Pirate!   


Gather the family, put your best pirate get-up on, and join us at the museum on Friday, April 20th from 6-9 pm! Enjoy a catered dinner with a musical performance by the Motley Tones - known for their unique blend of amusing sea chanteys, ballads, and musical parodies. Great opportunity to get photos with pirates!

Pirate Palooza - Elizabeth City April 20th -21st


Beginning at 11:00 a.m. On April 21st , pirates invade the streets and waterfront of downtown Elizabeth City! They’ll be mingling with folks in shops and restaurants, and providing fun. The Motely Tones be performing at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. at Mariners’ Wharf stage.


You and your maties will have a swashbuckling good time at Mariners’ Wharf! As there will be face painting and a petting zoo. Along with plenty of activities for the whole family. Be sure to come dressed in your best pirate gaaaarb! (or we’ll make you walk the plank!)
