Tickets to none transient "Loopers" are sold out. If you plan on joining us at the Albemarle Plantation Marina as a transient boater from any other location, you can still buy tickets.
The Park Boat Companies is sponsoring the Life on the Loop Oyster Roast at Albemarle Plantation. This is not just a culinary feast ,it is also an art exhibit and a boat show. With the assistance of the Osprey Yacht Club at Albemarle Plantation Marina, the Sons of the American Legion of Edenton and the Albemarle Loop you will enjoy roasted Oysters, home made clam chowder and for the land lubbers amongst us, a bowl of chili. Don't forget the beer and soft drinks (2 per ticket) that you will need to enjoy the feast - we supply the beverages too. The Oyster Roast starts a 4 PM and goes to 6 PM while the art festival, featuring Perquimans Arts League and Pocosin Arts starts at 2 PM and goes to 6 PM. Pocosin will be doing pottery demonstrations including how to throw pottery. The activities will be under the tent at Albemarle Plantation's Marina Park. The tickets to the Oyster Roast (click here to pay by credit card) are $25 but if you purchase the tickets on line on the form below before April 1st, you can use the promo code coupon (coupon code is "Today") and save $5 per ticket.
Tickets can also be purchased by check by clicking here. The Check must be postmarked no later than April 15.
There is a limit of about 100 tickets - so make your reservation early. The boat show will feature Grady White boats from Park Boat Companies. Any boater will want to see these jewels of the waterways.
The Coast Guard Auxilary will also be providing free vessel inspections for those arriving by boat and requesting an inspection or moored at the marina at Albemarle Plantation and requesting an inspection.
